Mission of the organization:
The mission of the Foundation is to use intervention strategies to empower communities so that they lead a healthy life. 

Background: 
The Foundation has been working for the last 20 years. In the field of health, it has worked in a genre of community health issues such as HIV, Tuberculosis, health of mothers /children and other community health ailments. The Foundation also works by collaborating with other organizations, government, medical bodies, medical professionals, corporate and institutional bodies to address health problems of the bottom of the pyramid and of vulnerable populations to achieve positive behaviour change leading to better health. The organization intends to expand its operations for which it is looking for people. 

Position : Director – Health HIV 
Position Reporting to : Chief Operating Officer 
Location: Delhi / Mumbai

Experience: 15 yrs

Position Description:
This position is a senior leadership position reporting to the to Chief Operating Officer. This position is required to implement the health HIV program to achieve the organization’s objectives. The focus of this position is to execute the program, build linkages with various private sector organizations / government and capacity building of partners and the field offices. Monitoring and evaluation of the team of programmers is also a key responsibility. The position will be working with traditional and non-traditional partners, including governments, state bodies, corporate, industry bodies’ donors, academia, medical fraternity etc to ensure the achievement of the program objective.

Key Responsibilities:
•Lead the Health HIV program of the organization. 
•Establish contacts and build relationships with private sector corporates, relevant industry bodies and federations. Develop strategies to initiate, negotiate and finalize with the relevant organizations
•Evaluate existing PPP models and work on building a PPP model
•Mentor and build capacity of the team for effective implementation of the intervention strategies and programs. Recruit, deploy, monitor, train and supervise the team for maximizing outreach and impact
•Evaluate and build alternate private sector business models for reaching high risk population with comprehensive HIV/AIDS services.
•Co-ordinate efforts on evaluating health care financing activities based on lessons learned from the previous social protection and health care financing. Adapt initiatives based on the lessons learned
•Build capacity of the various partner organizations. Support the transfer of tools, systems as developed. Organize workshops to share the lessons learned and consult key stakeholders to scale up. 
•Work on evaluating and improving treatment services and care facilities available while working with professional institutions in the field of HIV, STI, and TB 
•Help develop alliances, partnerships, collaborate with other organizations, medical bodies , medical professionals , corporate and institutional bodies
•Develop, manage and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external stake holders
•Represent the Foundation in forums for sharing experiences and best practices
•Implement monitor and control the program. Ensure high quality standards are maintained and in the programs
•Be responsible for the resource management required for the programs ie planning, procurement, delivering and deployment of resources for effective implementation. 
•Monitor and manage cost as per the budgets

Required qualification, experience and skills:
•Masters degree in a relevant field ie public health, social sciences, demography, management
•15 years experience in public health and/or other social sector programs. Basic understanding of HIV/AIDS and good understanding of Health system in the country 
•Experience working with the private sector partners, government and creating linkages
•Experience in various types of partnership development and management
•Strategic leadership, drive for results and management skills 
•Outstanding communication, project management and organizational skills
•Familiarity with the working environment and professional standards of high grade nonprofit organizations
•Proficiency in English
•Computer literacy
