About Dr. Reddy’s Foundation (DRF): Dr. Reddy’s Foundation (DRF), the Non Profit arm of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Limited, acts as a catalyst of change that fosters, develops and promotes initiatives at individual, group and organization levels to achieve sustainable development. DRF believes that sustainable development cannot take place until people are empowered to support themselves. With this vision, DRF was set up in 1996 for the benefit of the marginalized community focusing in the areas of Education & Livelihoods. For the quality work we do and impact we leave on the lives of the underprivileged had won accolades and awards for the Organization and the trustees as well.

Today there are about 150 DRF centers operational across 21 states in India. This program has addressed the needs of almost 2,70,000 youth so far, one’s who are constrained by low income levels, inadequate skills, irregular employment, indebtedness and little bargaining power at the economic / social level. To enable these youth to gain a foothold in the competitive job market, a business school model was established known as LABS which gives them livelihood skills and soft skills in an environment of interactive learning and mentoring that helps develop their inherent capabilities. The same LABS model was implemented with Farmers groups of five states for transfer of technology. In last four years this farmer’s model has proved its potential not only in reaching out to masses but significant rise in adoption level of various productivity and income enhancement technologies. This served the need of more than 15000 farmers in last 4 years across 5 states (mostly Western & Southern).
