Project Officer – Child Right
Main Responsibilities: Facilitate implementation of project in field situation, preparing project plans, stakeholder wise plan, milestone development for the project cycle, strategy development on child protection, identifying learning and documenting it, coordination within the team and with other institutions working on children’s right, identifying training needs of the project team members, providing onsite support to the team member during implementation, development of learning programme for the project team working at field level, preparing reports and documents, monitoring and review of the project activities.
Requirement: Candidates should be post graduate in rural development / social work, social sciences or in any relevant discipline from a recognized university. The candidate must have minimum 5 years of experience of project implementation on issues of children with a focus on their constitutional and human rights. The candidate should have experience of taking issues for necessary advocacy efforts at various levels by working on and with children, communities, civil Societies and government departments.
The person should have:
o Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead the project activities
o Ability to plan and think strategically
o Strong analytical skills
o Excellent coordination and motivation skills
o Good Project management skills
o Excellent reporting and documentation skills – both in Hindi and English
o Ability to identify team capacity building issues
o Knowledge of children’s issues especially on protection and education
Salary: 2.4 to 3 Lakh per year
